This is a silhouette that I have been playing with. She has a twin on the opposite side of the page. More on this as it develops. :)

January Challenge ~ Journal Everyday
Painting anything that gets in my way. LOL! This is a clipboard I got from my dad.
The letters are Tim Holtz's Grungeboard collection and very cool! The letters were painted with a base coat of light molding paste before I layered on the colours. This gives them a great gnarly texture.

Igor is inspired by artists Lynne Hoppe and Kellie Gillette. Letting go and having fun in my 7" square journal.
My backyard in the moonlight and Frida and Keiko (my standard poodle). Misty Mawn is having a January journal challenge again. What a great way to perk up a grey month. Thanks Misty!

Secret Sunday and the Pulse
Go to the Altered Page to see Seth Apter's "The Pulse" and Artist Survey. Seth is always doing such interesting projects and this one is no exception. I have participated and have a blurb published this Sunday for his Secret Sunday Surprise
Check it out!
"The Jellyglian"
My art secret to success is my fearlessness to create which is helped by working in my art journals. After playing in my journals I loose my inhibitions and relax and create freely especially if I don't over think about what I am doing.
Here is the start of the Jellyglian. I was just playing with background textures using a paper towel when I "saw" this wild and wonderful creature. :)
