Practicing always practicing

Here is my latest face. I don't know why I want to draw faces so much. I find them very challenging.

Patti this is amazing!! What a fantastic expression you've achieved. You must be so pleased to see exactly how well your practice is paying off.

patti, i feel the same way - that i'm always practicing. and experimenting just to see what happens.

i wonder about why faces are so enticing to draw, too... one reason seems to be that the variety of expressions and appearances seems to be endless. this alone fascinates me to no end. for instance, the eyes on this face make her look like she's pondering something (to me anyway). and if you did her eyes just a little differently, she wouldn't look like that at all! it's amazing!

beautiful day to you, sweet woman!

Your practicing is really paying off. Your faces are getting better all the time. Although I must say I have never seen anything wrong with any of your faces.
