Playing around with text. Above is with the finished version. I used gold leaf but not just the plain stuff it is called variegated Black Leaf. I wish metallics weren't so hard to photograph. Below shows the evolution of the lettering.
This is my first self portrait. I didn't have time to start painting today, that will be tomorrows task. Now to bed with me!

I love the metallic! It is hard to photograph, but you managed it really well there. Is that the gold leaf?? Was it hard to do?
