Soft Trees

I was inspired after look at the art of Brittani Faulkes to try a pastel of some funky soft round trees. I have a variety of pastels that I am having fun experimenting with, Sticks hard and soft, Pans and Charcoal Pencils. I love how you can blend colours. and make the shading very light or very dramatic. I am not sure what I was expecting but I am liking them more than I thought I would.
