Leona is inspired by Kellie and Kelly. My good friend Kellie is very talented with faces and she loaned me Kelly Rae Roberts's new book, which is wonderful!
New work on 8 x 10" composite board. It is has many layers to add texture and interest. Paper towel impressions, tickets, postage stamps, text in various languages, wallpaper, tape, acrylics, walnut ink, oil pastels, pen, pencil and I have probably forgotten one or two.

Love Leona ... she looks a bit like a self portrait! Love the lion door knocker too. I have the Kelly Rae Roberts book - Taking Flight, is this the one that inspired you?
