Fun in the Sun and more Art Journaling

"Smiling eye"
I seem to have an endless fascination for faces. This is in my 8 1/2 x 11" Strathmore journal that has grey pages. Started in pencil and then Gouache, and Pan Pastels.

Vinnie is a constant source of amusement and is a huge love bug.

What would summer be without some cloud watching on your back from the front lawn?

 Love this grey paper

I have been playing with Gouache a lot lately

A WIP I was thinking of a tattooed whale . . . maybe?

Also a work in progress, this is a new journal. It is just a simple pamphlet stitched book. The checkers is duck tape, black gesso over masking tape and blue Gouache with gel pen outline, fun!

Fun stuff you are working on. I love your first picture of the face with tree branch eye brow. And the clouds! Lovely.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I think we in the Pacific North West have had the finest weather in the country this summer. Glad you are enjoying your summer too.
