Gaga for faces

 a series of the same face in 3 different journals

Pencil, collage, Gouache, Pentel brush pen, punch

8 1/2 x 11" Strathmore journal with grey paper

Carved rose stamp with bordeaux Gouache

Pencil, white gel pen and charcoal, blending stump

 Background done in acrylics. 

Outlined face with white gel pen and then painted out the negative space with Paynes Grey Gouache then it was a mix of Gouache and Pentel brush pen.

Its really interesting doing different takes on the same image, you always learn alot.
