Portraits

Testing, testing, I just got some Peerless watercolours (on sheets) They are quite different and very transparent.

Shipping tape from Monk Office supply in patterns!!!
I used it to frame my Gelli Print in my journal. You can also cut out individual leaves. I wonder how many patterns are available I only saw 3, this one, pink polka dots, and a plaid.

Faces on toned paper

More portrait practice, this time in pencil and white charcoal. Working in pencil on toned paper is great as the paper is the mid tone and you can add your darks and highlights too.


I am using a 4b pencil and a white charcoal pencil and a little white gel pen here and there.
